Early Offer at UniSC discussion

Dear Parents and Year 12 students only,

Mr Chris Garrett had the pleasure of securing Mr Charles Hallett (Regional Engagement Officer) from UniSC to meet with Year 12 students about obtaining an Early Offer at UniSC. Mr Hallett and Mr Garrett will be discussing all things relating to early offers during the following date:

• Fri 8 August at 12.45pm – 1:30pm in the Study room

Mr Garrett is requesting an indication (from students via email or on a list in his office) of whether you are interested in securing a meeting to help with organisation and avoid missed opportunities. This is a new incentive, not previously presented, and an excellent opportunity to meet a valued member of the UniSC staff to discuss Early Offer opportunities.

SC Technical Trade Training Centre Information Sessions

For Years 11 & 12

Pre-vocational training course in 2026, and their parents/carers are required to attend one of our information sessions.

Places fill quickly and session numbers are limited, so please register early.

Sessions will cover:

• Course content
• How to apply for an enrolment place
• Selection process for enrolment
• What’s possible for students who hold pre-vocational qualifications
• SCTTTC daily operations
• Workplace expectations
• Guided tour of our workshop and facilities

UniSC’s Headstart Information Evening

Students and their families are invited to UniSC’s Headstart Information Evening this September.

Headstart is UniSC’s program for motivated year 10–12 students to experience university while still at school. They’ll study real first-year uni subjects, gain credit toward a future degree and get a feel for uni life early. Best of all? Their first course is free, and additional courses are just $400 – delivering real savings on a full degree.
