Maintenance Officer
Maintenance Officer

About the Role
The College Maintenance Officer plays a vital role in helping ensure the College’s buildings, facilities, and grounds are maintained to a high standard of safety, functionality, and presentation.
Working as part of the Property Team, this hands-on role involves general maintenance, minor construction and renovation works, and coordination of small projects. It also provides operational support, including responding to maintenance requests, liaising with internal stakeholders and external contractors, and assisting with event setup and operational needs.
This role is suited to a highly organised and adaptable, trade-qualified professional who enjoys working in a dynamic school environment, holds a valid Working with Children Check (Blue Card), and can contribute positively to a collaborative team.

We are seeking a dedicated and adaptable Junior School Relief Teacher to join our College community. This role plays an important part in supporting continuity of learning and maintaining a positive, nurturing classroom environment for our Junior School students.
About the Role
As a Junior School Relief Teacher, you will step into classrooms as required to deliver engaging and purposeful learning experiences aligned with the College’s curriculum and Christian ethos. You will ensure that each class is well-managed and that students remain supported, safe and engaged in their learning, even during staff absences.
Working closely with Junior School leadership and teaching teams, you will contribute to a consistent and high-quality learning experience, fostering both academic progress and the holistic development of each student within a faith-centred environment.
In this role, you will deliver planned lessons and facilitate meaningful learning experiences that align with curriculum expectations, while maintaining a structured, calm and positive classroom environment. You will manage student behaviour effectively and support a culture of respect and engagement. The role requires you to monitor student learning during your time in class, providing feedback where appropriate and ensuring continuity in student progress. You will respond to the diverse learning needs of students through appropriate teaching strategies and uphold required adjustments where relevant. Building positive and professional relationships with students and staff is essential, as is modelling and integrating the College’s Christian worldview into classroom practice. You will actively participate in the broader life of the College when engaged, including staff expectations and school routines, and maintain accurate records such as attendance and relevant classroom notes to support ongoing teaching and learning.

Are you a hands-on and reliable team player with a passion for agriculture and a desire to support students in a practical, outdoor learning environment?
About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and hands-on Teaching Assistant to support the delivery of practical learning within our agricultural program. Working closely with teachers, you will play an important role in helping students engage in meaningful, real-world agricultural activities.
In this role, you will assist during class lessons by supporting small groups of students, helping them stay on task, and reinforcing safe and effective work practices across a range of activities such as horticulture, animal care, and general farm operations.
You will also ensure that all equipment and materials are prepared ahead of lessons and packed away afterwards, maintaining clean, organised and safe learning environments. Your observations and feedback on student participation will support teachers in delivering high-quality learning experiences.
The role requires someone who is adaptable and calm under pressure, as priorities and activities may shift depending on weather, seasonal needs, or classroom requirements. You’ll also contribute to a safe and respectful environment by adhering to workplace health and safety standards, student protection requirements, and privacy obligations.

About You
You are a practical, reliable and team-oriented individual who enjoys working with young people and contributing to a collaborative learning environment.
You bring hands-on experience or familiarity with agricultural practices such as fencing, gardening, horticulture or animal handling, and you’re confident supporting students in these activities.
You are an effective communicator, able to engage professionally with staff, students and families, while making sound, informed decisions when required. Your ability to remain flexible and composed in a dynamic environment allows you to respond positively to changing needs throughout the day.
Importantly, you demonstrate a high level of integrity, maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information with discretion. You are knowledgeable of, or committed to understanding, your responsibilities under relevant legislation including privacy and child safety frameworks.
