Nambour Christian College is a co-educational, inter-denominational Christian school located in the heartland of the Sunshine Coast, Queensland. It is a Prep to Year 12 school with approximately 1150 students. The College also contains an Early Learning Centre facility for children aged 15 months and above.

Senior English Teacher

Full-time permanent position commencing January 2022

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and passionate Senior English Teacher committed to Christian education to join our team.

The successful applicant will:

  • Have demonstrated capacity in teaching Senior English with a high degree of teaching competence in the secondary school.  The ability to teach literature and advantage
  • Be able to communicate effectively with students, families and colleagues
  • Hold a current Queensland Teacher Registration or ability to obtain
  • Hold a current First Aid Certificate or ability to obtain
  • Have a strong commitment to Christian education and a thorough knowledge of curriculum and pedagogy.

The College’s practices are based on Biblical Christian principles and values.  We seek committed Christians who have a passion to teach, model, guide and direct the lives of our students.
