Students – Long Term

International Students at NCC

Make NCC your school in Australia

Nambour Christian College welcomes international students who want to complete longer-term study as part of the NCC community.

International students study alongside Australian students in mainstream classes, with access to the same academic, sporting, cultural and co-curricular opportunities available throughout the College.

From Primary School through to Senior School, students are supported to develop their English, build friendships, pursue their academic goals and make the most of living and studying in Australia.

Support throughout your studies

Moving to Australia for school is a significant experience, and support is available throughout a student’s time at NCC.

International students have access to NCC’s International team as well as the College’s broader wellbeing, pastoral care and academic support.

English as a Second Language (ESL) support is also available, with each student’s needs considered as part of their application and ongoing studies.

Accommodation & Homestay

International students may live with eligible family arrangements or, where appropriate, with an approved NCC host family.

Homestay gives students the opportunity to experience everyday Australian family life while having a safe and supportive home during their studies.

Students under 12 years of age cannot be placed in homestay and must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
