Nambour Christian College offers customised Study Tours for school and student groups looking to experience Australian education, culture and life on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast.
Each program is tailored to the interests and goals of the group, combining learning at NCC with cultural exchange, English language development and authentic Australian experiences.
Study Tours can run from one week to several weeks, giving students the opportunity to learn alongside Australian students, build their confidence using English and create connections with the NCC community.
.
A program designed for your group
Every Study Tour is different.
Working with your school, education agency or organisation, NCC can create an itinerary combining experiences such as:
- English language learning and classroom activities
- Integration with Australian students
- Agricultural science, environmental and sustainability programs
- Sport and outdoor education
- Hospitality and cooking experiences
- Cultural exchange activities
- Leadership and personal development
- Excursions to Sunshine Coast and Queensland attractions
- Homestay with carefully selected local families for eligible students
Programs can have an academic, cultural or English language focus, or combine different experiences to meet the goals of your group.
Experience life at NCC
Study Tour students have the opportunity to become part of the NCC community during their visit.
Depending on the program, students can join Australian students in classes, experience NCC’s sporting and co-curricular activities and take part in practical learning through facilities such as our Berakah Agricultural Farm and Hospitality Precinct.
Beyond the College, the Sunshine Coast provides opportunities to experience Australian wildlife, beaches, natural environments and local attractions.

"Thank you so much for giving us such an amazing opportunity in Australia. Thanks to you, I experienced many things for the first time, and all of them became precious memories. Honestly, I wanted to keep going to NCC even after the program ended — I miss it that much! I enjoyed joining different classes, talking with students from different countries and sharing our cultures."
