TAFE

Students often don’t give enough consideration to studying at TAFE. TAFE can be a fantastic way to gain practical skills and training in a whole range of career areas.

Click here to visit the TAFE QLD site and find out more about the courses that are available through TAFE and what it is like to study there. You can also use TAFE as a stepping stone into University. You can possibly get some ‘Credit Transfer’ towards University courses after studying at TAFE. This page explains some of the possibilities.

TAFE QLD has 50 locations across the state from Thursday Island in the North to Coolangatta in the south and as far west as Mount Isa. There are 7 main areas and you can get information on these and the campus locations within each of these areas via the links below:
