Nambour Christian College is currently governed by a Board of Directors.
In 1989, the church Pastor saw the need for a more professional and planned approach to the oversight and development of the school and established the School Board. It immediately set about creating a development plan for the future called ‘Towards 2000’. This marked the end of the formal connection between the church and the school.
Since that time, Nambour Christian College has been governed by a Board of Directors, making the school an independent organisation to the church that founded us and re-focusing the school to welcome all Christians. You can read more about our history here.
Our board comprises professional men and women who give of their time and are very experienced in education at many levels. Collectively, they adopt a professional approach to set strategic direction for all business units owned and operated by Nambour Christian College Ltd which currently comprises of:
- Nambour Christian College
- Gulf Christian College
