JUNIOR SCHOOL CAFE

Online Ordering is the ordering system in the Junior School.
To order online, simply set up a Flexischools pre-paid acount. Once registered, start placing your orders. The order is sent directly to the Café. Online orders can be placed weeks in advance or by 9.30am on the day.

Children can purchase home-made snacks, drinks and ice-blocks over the counter with cash during their breaks. To prevent ice blocks from melting, please purchase over the counter after Morning Tea or Lunch has been eaten.
The Junior School Café is open from 8.00am until approximately 1.30pm. Coffee, tea, cold drinks, snacks and meals are available for parents and visitors at reasonable prices between these hours.
You can order cup cakes for your child’s class for their birthday. They can be delivered to the classroom for morning or afternoon tea. A minimum of one day’s notice is required. Orders can be placed at the café or on-line.
MIDDLE & SENIOR SCHOOL CAFE

For your convenience, you can order tuckshop from your computer or mobile phone. The order will be sent directly to the Middle & Senior School Café and pickup is from the Orders Counter. You can order weeks ahead or by 9.30am on the day. To access or register for Online Ordering click here.
• STUDENT CARD – Middle & Senior School students can use their Student Card, instead of cash, to purchase at the Middle & Senior School Cafe. To set up a pre-paid account click here. Make sure you enter the Student Card Number which is an S and five numbers.
CASH AND EFTPOS PURCHASES
Students can purchase breakfast, morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea over the counter with cash or EFTPOS.
The Middle & Senior School Café is open from 7.30am until 3.30pm to also cater for breakfast and after school. Coffee, tea, cold drinks, snacks and meals are available for parents and visitors at reasonable prices between these hours.
Birthday cakes are available. Orders can be placed at the café or on-line.
HELPING AT THE CAFES
Parents can gain Working Bee Credits by volunteering in the Cafés and donating goods. Click here to display or download the current ‘Donation List of Goods’ accepted by the Cafés.
Please contact us if you would like to be placed on the Volunteer’s Roster with your preferred day and preferred Café, Junior or Middle & Senior School. You only need to volunteer twice per term for four hours each time.
ABOUT THE CAFES
NCC Cafés are managed by Laurent Vancam. Laurent is a French Chef and cook book author with a background in catering in Europe and Australia.
Laurent has won the following awards in the Tuckshop industry:
- 2013 – Top 10 Queensland Tuckshops (at NCC)
- 2012 – Top 10 Queensland Tuckshops (at NCC)
- 2011 – Top 10 Queensland Tuckshops (at NCC)
- 2010 – Top 10 Queensland Tuckshops
- 2009 – Innovation in the Tuckshop
- 2008 – Queensland Tuckshop of the Year
The menu is based on using fresh and wholesome ingredients in line with the State Government’s healthy tuckshop food guidelines. Specials are changed weekly and are advertised in the College Weekly Update, at the Cafés and on the Online Ordering system. The Cafés also cater for school events and take home meals for families.
