As a College Bus Driver at NCC, you play a vital role in ensuring the safe and reliable transportation of students. Your primary responsibility is to safely operate NCC owned and managed buses during scheduled morning and afternoon runs, with additional duties as required for excursions and off-campus activities.

This role demands a high level of professionalism, responsibility, and care.

A key aspect of the role includes timely and courteous communication with parents and caregivers, fostering trust and transparency. You will also collaborate effectively with College staff to ensure smooth coordination of transport logistics.

About the role:

The Head of Department, Science leads the development and delivery of the Science curriculum, manages and supports teaching staff, oversees student performance, and ensures the effective use of resources and safety in laboratories. They play a strategic role in setting departmental goals, promoting Science education, and liaising with school leadership, parents, and external partners to enhance learning outcomes and engagement.

With a commencement date of January 2026, this is an opportunity to continue to shape, grow and develop the Science Department developed and managed by our retiring Head of Department.

Information Technology Technician

About the role:

The IT Technician role is a Full-Time, Permanent position providing expert support to users of the College Computer Network. The role is fundamental to IT operations, varied and engaging and as part of the IT Team assist with maintain all computers and peripheral devices in the College and from time to time provides service across the NCC Education Group.

About You:

The ideal candidate for this role should be highly proactive, with strong problem-solving skills and a keen attention to detail. They should have a solid technical foundation, particularly in supporting IT infrastructure, desktop/laptop systems, and peripheral devices. The ideal candidate should be able to troubleshoot issues, and assist staff, students and parents with technology professionally and respectfully recognizing different levels of knowledge and skills in users. Strong communication skills are essential for providing clear support, maintaining systems, and managing device repairs. Being adaptable, capable of updating documentation, and be highly organised.

  3. Whole school engagement – Work under the direction of our current Learning Enrichment Teacher, primarily supporting secondary students while maintaining an understanding of the needs of all students across the College.
  4. Collaborative team environment – Join a supportive Learning Enrichment Department, consisting of a lead Teacher and two experienced Teacher Assistants, fostering a culture of teamwork and student-focused learning.

NCC Early Swimmers is a dynamic, fun and option filled program running from Nambour Christian College’s Learn to swim facility. We offer learn to swim lessons for all ages for both the community and our private school-based programs. NCC Early Swimmers is looking for a staff member who is motivated, flexible, energetic and goal orientated to join our growing team.

Based in our purpose-built facility in Woombye, our pool is well-equipped and heated year-round. We plan to grow and develop a progressive learn-to-swim program for all ages in a fun, structured environment with a focus on water safety.

This role will operate independently with the requirement to develop lesson plans, deliver lessons and set-up and pack-down all equipment to ensure the pool remains safe before, during and after classes.

Skills and Experience
To be suitable for this position, you must have a passion for swim teaching, be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills, be patient, have a natural focus on details and be reliable. You will be able to instil confidence in participants and be prepared to do more than just instruct and with your passion for swim teaching, you will be excited to assist in growing the service.

The successful applicant will be able to work flexible hours, commit to set class times and have the following qualifications:

  • Relevant Swim Australia Teacher of Babies and Toddlers qualification and/or relevant Swim  Australia Teacher qualification
  • Current Working With Children Check
  • Current First Aid and CPR qualification
  • Experience is preferred but not essential

NCC Swimmers is a dynamic, fun and option filled program running from Nambour Christian College’s Learn to swim facility. We offer learn to swim lessons for all ages for both the community and our private school-based programs. NCC Early Swimmers is looking for a staff member who is motivated, flexible, energetic and goal orientated to join our growing team.
