NCC Swimmers
We are seeking a Casual Learn to Swim Instructor, flexible working arrangements, commencing April 26.
If you have flexibility to teach swimming classes Monday to Friday, then this role will suit you.
Required Qualifications:
- Working with Children Check (Blue Card)
- First Aid Certificate
- Current CPR Certificate
- Swim Australia / AUSTSWIM Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety Certificate
Desirable Qualifications and Experience:
- Relevant Babies/Infants and Toddlers qualification
- Teacher of Towards Competitive Strokes certificate, Swim Squad Fundamentals, or Foundation Coaching

Nambour Christian College (NCC) is an outstanding Christ-centred, mission-driven, co-educational, interdenominational Prep to Year 12 Christian school located in the heart of the Sunshine Coast, Queensland. About the Role
The College Maintenance Officer plays a vital role in helping ensure the College’s buildings, facilities, and grounds are maintained to a high standard of safety, functionality, and presentation.
Working as part of the Property Team, this hands-on role involves general maintenance, minor construction and renovation works, and coordination of small projects. It also provides operational support, including responding to maintenance requests, liaising with internal stakeholders and external contractors, and assisting with event setup and operational needs.
This role is suited to a highly organised and adaptable, trade-qualified professional who enjoys working in a dynamic school environment, holds a valid Working with Children Check (Blue Card), and can contribute positively to a collaborative team.

About You
You are a committed Christian who actively lives out your faith in daily practice and supports the mission, ethos, and values of Nambour Christian College. You demonstrate integrity, professionalism, compassion, and reliability in your work and interactions.
You work well within a team, maintain appropriate professional boundaries, and consistently act in accordance with the College’s Staff Code of Conduct. You are proactive, flexible, willing to learn, and committed to continual professional development.
You bring demonstrated competency in a relevant trade (with formal qualifications considered advantageous), along with experience in building maintenance and site safety. You have strong organisational and time management skills, enabling effective prioritisation and coordination of maintenance and minor works.
You communicate professionally and build positive working relationships with staff, parents, and students. You demonstrate initiative, adaptability, and a collaborative approach, complemented by sound knowledge of Workplace Health and Safety standards and compliance requirements, including privacy and child protection.
