Our Junior School Showcase on Thursday 4 June at 9.15 am is an opportunity for prospective families to experience this for themselves.
During the morning, you will be able to meet our Junior School student leaders, Junior School Principal, Deputy Principal, and Teaching and Learning coordinators. You will also tour our Junior campus and gain a better understanding of what makes this stage of education at NCC so important and so distinctive.
At NCC, Junior School is about far more than a good start. It is where children build strong foundations for learning and life, in an environment that combines structure, encouragement and care.
Our Junior campus fosters learning, play and growth. Beautiful, landscaped grounds, purpose-built facilities and dedicated junior spaces create an environment where children can thrive both academically and socially. From our separate Prep Centre and adventure play areas to our libraries, science lab, drama room, music spaces and sporting facilities, the campus has been shaped to meet the needs of growing learners.
Families will also gain insight into the rich curriculum and opportunities on offer in Junior School. Alongside strong classroom teaching, students engage in specialist lessons each week in French, Music, Physical Education and Library, while also having opportunities to explore choir, band, drama, sport and a range of interest-based activities.
Just as important is the culture that underpins everything. Our teaching combines the Australian Curriculum with a biblical perspective, and our staff work hard to ensure each child feels valued, capable and connected.
