NCC Students Engage in a Diverse and Rewarding Academic Life
Preparing students for a successful future starts at a young age. A strong curriculum combined with a stimulating learning environment has seen NCC consistently achieve outstanding academic results.
Outdoor Education is seen as an important component of the Nambour Christian College curriculum. Camps, both on the Sunshine Coast and further afield, have been carefully designed to complement one another and have been sequenced for gradual acceptance by children/parents who have not experienced times of separation.
The Outdoor Education Program allows the further development of social, physical, spiritual, emotional and leadership skills in our students.
IMBIL OUTDOOR EDUCATION SITE
The College has a 55 hectare property near Imbil, adjacent to Borumba Dam, on the Sunshine Coast, and this will provide the centre for our future Outdoor Education Program.
Beginning in 2017, this site will be developed to further enhance the breadth of experiences that NCC students enjoy through the College Outdoor Education Program.
We also see the benefit of offering our students a variety of different experiences and this is evident from the program for Outdoor Education in 2016.
