Nambour Christian College
– Strategic Plan 2003-2007

This Strategic Plan was developed through a consultative process involving representatives from all sectors of our College community. The College Board together with the Senior Administration team then formulated the Foundation Statements and the corresponding Aims and Objectives to be fulfilled within the life of the plan.

Foundation Statement No. 1 - Students
To prepare and equip our students as people of compassion and character enabling them to contribute effectively to society.

Foundation Statement No. 2 - Staff
To nurture, support and equip our staff for their ministry of teaching at NCC.

Foundation Statement No. 3 - Parents
To work co-operatively with parents to enhance their children’s education at Nambour Christian College.

Foundation Statement No. 4 – Financial Resources
To commit to the wise use of our finances in managing the College affairs.

Foundation Statement No. 5 – Physical Resources
To develop and maintain the physical resources and facilities in order to maximise the educational experiences and outcomes for our students.

Foundation Statement No. 6 – Community Focus
To outreach into the community locally and globally through various programs and initiatives.

Foundation Statement No. 7 – Values and Ethics
To conduct our relationships, our programs and our business dealings in a way that will demonstrate Christian values and ethics.

The College is currently in the process of finalising the next Strategic Plan 2008 – 2014. A summary of the plan will be accessible on the College web site shortly with a more detailed, printed copy available on request from our College Registrar.
